Day 19 & Transfer to OHSU

4/15/23 7:30PM

At around 5 p.m., we got word that a bed had become available, and Tony was transported by ambulance to OHSU. We arrived at 7:15pm.

This by no means implies that he is out of the woods. PLEASE continue praying for him. PLEASE. 🙏 Now, more than ever.

Pray for Doctor Sheppard and his team that will take over.

I have soooo many things running through my head on loop. I'm barely holding it together. Today was a REALLY hard, scary day. Pray for all of us. But, mostly, for TONY.

He is in the battle of his life.

    Jesus we pray that you would wrap Tony up in your arms and cover him with the blood of Christ. We believe in total healing. You are a good good father. In Jesus name we pray . AMEN.

    Lord God of All, Touch Tony & give him Your strength to endure this battle. Give Divine guidance to his doctors, Divine Protection for Becky & the kids hearts, and Divine Healing we pray in the Powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

    King Jesus,
    We surround Tony, Becky and their daughter and family ,with your protection, We place the Armor of God around them, Shield them with your Faithfulness Papa God. Allow them the
    Boldness to use the sword of the spirit speaking against the calamity and Infirmities plaguing them!
    We ask you snatch them back from the spirit of death and claim them as your king Jesus.

    Reveal yourself to them as they cry out to you for help, Holy Spirit be there, let your presence fill them and their rooms, be-in their foot steps as they walk from place to place Shaking the ground of Hell, and stomping on the enemy, casting him out of their minds, bodies and circumstances and every environment and atmosphere they enter.
    Jesus send your Angels to go before them and prepare the way, as they hold onto you, and allow you to lead them into super natural and perfect peace despite the chaos…

    We bind the spirit of Fear and ask them to be aware of it and cast it off themselves in Jesus name!!! It can not have this family, We forbid it in Jesus mighty Name… let our Christ brood over them and heal them… bring comfort and boldness to speak hope and your truth into their situation!

    We release you Jesus and open the doors to all the resources you may need to intervene and pull Them
    Back from the brink of death…Illness and destruction, make the enemy pay full recompense for the heath he’s stolen, the peace he’s stolen and the fear he’s breeding in them. We forbid his influence and effect on them in Jesus name!
    They are yours king Jesus and we stand on your promises. We close the doors the enemy is using to attack them with our authority and by your name and blood she’s for us…We decree this family will be healed, while and set on fire for you Jesus, shouting their testimony of your faithfulness from the rooftops!!! In Jesus Name. Amen

Back at OHSU for a JAUNT

 December Update - Kinda a big one.  Few people know, but Tony had another recent "flare-up" with his "sub-par," VERY damaged pancreas that began on Sunday and lasted two days. (Yes, he took his citizenship test in pain, cause you don't reschedule with the USCIS.) But, we aren't messing around, and so today (Wednesday) we found ourselves back at OHSU for a check-in. (Remind me to make a PowerPoint Ted Talk on TRAUMA/PTSD.)  We left OHSU with a better plan on how to manage these "flares" so that in the future, he doesn't have to miss MORE work time. (2 days off this week) And we left with future lab draws for some genetic testing. Jury says this is all still "idiopathic".... so, in a true episode of "House" fashion, we're still "guessing" on what to stay away from as far as nutrition. But, this was the VERY first time we'd heard about options should this ever become chronic and/or progressively worse. There

Another surgery for Tony on 6/10

Well, village... we come to you today with another update/prayer request. After the ultrasound procedure that Tony had in March, it was discovered that he has some "sludge" in his gallbladder, which CAN be a precursor for another round of pancreatitis. (Apparently, sludge is not something most people have, and given "the perfect storm," it COULD land him back into a lengthy stay at OHSU, or God-forbid, worse.) Tony met with a surgeon on Tuesday, and it has been strongly advised that he has his gallbladder removed to eliminate that as a possibility. Surgery is set for June 10th at OHSU. If you know Tony, he is, of course, trying to wrangle anyway he can to get back to work for financial reasons in LESS than the three week sentencing. Although it will be a robotic surgery with four incisions, the down time is 3 weeks. Best case scenario. He also feels like he's FINALLY back to his fighting weight and FULLY recovered, so, to him, this feels like a MAJOR setback. Un

ATP Dreams and OR Shenanigans

             (Blurred photo to protect "the patient") Tony's procedure went really well. As always, we got an AWESOME team assigned to him. OHSU is amazing. BEST, KINDEST, HAPPIEST staff around. (Hey, they played 90's pop in the OR. THESE are my people. Backstreet's BACK alright!! I DID ask to go back with him as a back-up dancer. They smiled and nodded. Politely.) Apparently, all 3 stints had fallen out on their own. Dr. Yu said his pancreas looks remarkably well, all things considered. She said if she hadn't known of his lengthy stay here last year, she would NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TELL how bad it was. The portion of his pancreas that "died" or necrotized will not come back or repair on its own, but it appears to be functioning well. Not 100%. But, "well." She was pleased.  She did find some "sludge" in his gall bladder. We don't KNOW if that was the cause of pancrea-maggedon 2023. But, she is taking Tony's (Medical &qu
